The education system is mainly focused on providing instruction to students, and in some instances can be so restricted that schools do not always feel like safe spaces, or appropriate spaces, for certain conversations to take place. Should students and teachers freely discuss politics in schools? Or should those types of dialogues be reserved for other spaces?
